🧡Sunday Jan 26th🧡 MLK Jr Day of Service in Gtown!
Join us as we kick off the new year with a day of community care and connection at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Clean-Up in Germantown! Let’s honor Dr. King’s legacy by coming together to enhance our neighborhood and create spaces that inspire.

📅 When: Sunday, January 26th | 10AM - 1PM
📍 Where: Meet us at 5700 Greene St, Philadelphia, PA 19144

Who: Organized by I Love Thy Hood and Germantown United CDC, in partnership with Weavers Way Co-op, Friends of Vernon Park, Maplewood Collective, Jeantel Landscaping, P*k A Panel Hardware, and Selah By Designs. Supported by the City of Philadelphia’s PHL Taking Care of Business program.
What We’ll Do:
Clean up the area to make Germantown shine
Build garden beds to enhance the neighborhood for residents, shoppers, and businesses
🛠 What to Bring:
Some supplies will be provided, but if you can, bring your own broom, pail, and gloves. (Parking is free on Sundays, and buses H, XH, 26, 23, and 55 stop nearby.)
Let’s start 2025 strong by coming together to create a cleaner, brighter, and more connected Germantown. We can’t wait to see you there!
