This is Quadir Copeland with Philadelphia Black Basketball Hall of Fame Board Member,Crystal Gilmore Harris. Quadir,played in our NY~Philly Youth Basketball Classic,six years ago.

Fast forward,after a great college career at Syracuse,McNeese State and North Carolina State,Quadir is preparing himself for the 2026 NBA draft.

We are all extremely proud and will be supporting Quadir,as he pursues his professional basketball dream.

A distinguished gathering of esteemed gentlemen convened in an exclusive setting to honor the impending induction of NBA official Joe Crawford into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame's Class of 2026. Hosted by Kenny Holdsman, Executive Director of Philadelphia Youth Basketball(PYB)at The Sixth Man Center, the event lauded Joe's achievement with accolades and personal anecdotes shared by Joe and fellow attendees.

First Tee of Greater Philadelphia Caddie Academy



Philadelphia Black Basketball Hall of Fame (PBBHOF) has partnered with First Tee of Greater Philadelphia (FTGP) to provide an exciting and fun summer job opportunity for teens in the Philadelphia region ages 14 to 18. The job is to be a golf caddy at local golf courses within Philadelphia. The opportunity is available to both boys and girls, and no prior experience is needed. FTGP will provide the initial training on the fundamentals of being a caddy through their Caddie Academy. After completing the training, if you are interested in pursuing such a job, FTGP will place you at a golf course which is near to where you live. If interested in learning more, there is an informational Zoom meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Following a successful high school career at St. Joseph's Prep, Olin Chamberlain Jr. chose to stay home as a walk-on for the Owls. However, Olin is paving his own path in the sport.

Art Taylor, suggested this and has got us started with the first donation. We are going to match his donation and try to double that.I ask likeminded individuals to help others in this time of need.
