Twenty-five years ago, September 11 changed our nation forever.

It took innocent lives, devastated families, and sent countless Americans toward a lifetime of service. Its impact continues to be carried by our first responders, service members, Veterans, military families, and communities across the country.

Today, the AUSA Greater Philadelphia – Penn & Franklin Chapter remembers those we lost, honors those who answered the call, and stands with every family still carrying the weight of that day.

Dating back centuries, the Dining-Out is one of the Army’s oldest traditions and it’s definitely not your average dinner.

Yes, there will be great food, but the evening is really about celebrating Army tradition, strengthening camaraderie, honoring those who came before us, and bringing Soldiers, veterans, families, friends, and community partners together.

Expect formal toasts, time-honored traditions, and, of course, the legendary grog bowl! 👀

We're honored to announce our keynote speaker for the inaugural AUSA Greater Philadelphia – Penn & Franklin Chapter Dining-Out!

Please join us in welcoming SMA (Ret.) Daniel A. Dailey, the 15th Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army.

A Pennsylvania native, decorated combat veteran, and recipient of the Bronze Star with Valor, SMA (Ret.) Dailey has dedicated his life to leading Soldiers and serving our nation. Although retired from active duty, he continues to serve as a respected ambassador for the Army, championing Soldiers, military families, and the Noncommissioned Officer Corps.

There is no one we can think of better to help launch what we hope will become a lasting Army tradition here in Greater Philadelphia.
