Today, as we celebrate our 5th year of impact, we're reflecting on the people who have helped make that vision a reality.
One of those individuals is Conita, a senior tutor who recently began her 4th year of service with Joyful Readers.

For5️⃣ years, stories like this have been at the heart of our mission. They remind us that literacy is about more than reading. It's about confidence, connection and creating opportunities for students to thrive.

We're excited to welcome our newest cohort of Joyful Readers tutors as they begin their pre-service journey.

Over the coming weeks, these dedicated individuals will participate in training, strengthen their instructional skills, and prepare to support young readers across Philadelphia schools. Through their commitment and care, they will help students build literacy skills, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of reading.

We're proud to cultivate the next generation of tutors and can't wait to see the impact they make in schools throughout the coming school year. Welcome to the Joyful Readers team! 📚💜
