Eagle Scout loading…. Riley is on her way… she hosted her first workday to beautify Manton Green on Monday she will host another and welcome members of the Travis Manion foundation for her second! Together Riley, members of the foundation, and other volunteers will finish clean up an build picnic tables, garden boxes, and new sign! We can’t wait to see the finished product!

Last night some of the troop’s Arrowmen attended the lodge dinner! Some of our own were recognized - Congratulations to Angel for keeping her Vigil on Treasure Island- FTI was reconized for hosting this event! AND Congratulations to Amelia on being inducted as 2nd Vice Chief! We are extremely proud of you and know you will do wonderful things for Unami Lodge One!

Tonight the scouts made 96 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the poor- to add to this story when purchasing the supplies a woman at the store paid for the entire order. She didn’t want a thank you letter or any recognition, so we simply asked our scouts to pay it forward! Great work Troop 147!

All scouts home and accounted for! It was a great Summer Fun Weekend ‘25- we tackled rope elements, zipped the big zip, played in the lake, fished, hiked, cooked, and enjoyed the company around the fire-yes we threw their badge requirements aside, but we got to watch them apply their skills without even realizing they were doing it! Great job, Scouts and thanks for an awesome weekend!
