We want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out today.
I’m Darnell Thomas, cofounder of The Print Foundation, the organization behind Denise’s Pantry. I had the pleasure of meeting some of you today, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

The recent video about our pantry went viral and caught us completely off guard. Because of the unexpected turnout, food was limited, and we know that caused some frustration. Please accept our sincerest apologies, we never want anyone to leave empty handed.

We’ll be closed for the next two weeks as we regroup and restock to better serve everyone.
Denise’s Pantry will reopen on Friday, November 7th, fully prepared to handle the larger crowds and continue feeding our community with love and care.

Thank you again for your patience, your kindness, and your support. We’re learning, growing, and committed to doing better, together. ❤️

From the Heart ❤️
Sometimes you just have to make it happen. My wife and I knew this week’s pantry wouldn’t have the same amount of food as usual, so we took a ride all the way to Lancaster, PA, to an amazing place called Blessings of Hope, an organization that helps pantries like ours by offering food at a very low cost.

We filled that car from top to bottom, front to back, four full shopping carts worth of food. And we did it from our own pockets, no special funding, just love for our community. With the food we bought from Blessings of Hope and the food we receive from Sharing Excess we will make it work.

When we say we do this from the heart, we mean every word. This isn’t just about food; it’s about making sure our neighbors have what they need to feed their families. We love this community, and we’ll always do what it takes to keep food on our neighbors’ tables. 💪🏾❤️

We’ve officially made our final decisions for this round of applicants seeking help with bill assistance.

Unfortunately, we were not able to assist everyone who applied. Due to budget limits, we capped support at $500 per household and were only able to select 10 applicants out of the many who reached out.

This was our first round, but it will not be our last. We see the overwhelming need in our community, and we’re committed to coming back stronger. Our goal moving forward is to secure more funding and resources so we can extend our reach and help more families in the future.

Thank you to everyone who applied, and to those who continue to support our mission. This is just the beginning.

📢 Important Update

Due to the high number of applicants and the urgency of the bill payment program, we have moved the deadline to tomorrow. After that, we will be reviewing applications, making our selections, and reaching out directly to those chosen.

Unfortunately, we are not able to assist everyone who applied this round because funds are limited. This support came directly from our own personal investments, not outside funding. We do hope to secure grants for future rounds so that we can expand and help even more families in need.

Thank you to everyone who applied and shared this opportunity. Your patience and understanding mean a lot as we continue to grow this program.
