Yesterday we were out at Broad & Allegheny for a Project Beloved Community pop‑up food giveaway. The weather showed up for us, and so did the neighborhood. We spent time talking with community members about what Project Beloved Community is, why we do this work, and made sure families had access to good, nutritious food. Always grateful to be present with the people.

Today we stood in solidarity with Councilmember Nicholas O’Rourke and community leaders from across Philadelphia to condemn the Supreme Court’s recent ruling involving District Attorney Larry Krasner. Our message was clear: Philadelphia deserves a justice system accountable to its people, not political interference. We remain committed to protecting democracy, defending our communities, and standing together when our values are under attack.

Mamdani-backed socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier defeated Rep. Adriano Espaillat in the Democratic primary for the 13th Congressional District in New York.

The controversial candidate once called the United States a "f---ing disgrace" and has advocated for abolishing borders, prisons and police.

As it's currently drawn, NY-13 has never been represented by a Republican, so Avila Chevalier is poised to win the general election in November and earn a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Yesterday, we hosted our Project Beloved Community - Juneteenth Celebration, and it was a wonderful day for a cookout. The weather was beautiful, the food and music brought people together, and we had meaningful conversations with neighbors about our work.

We also held a food giveaway, and Black Voters Matter joined us with prizes and T‑shirts that added great energy to the event.
