Kyron A. Howerton was discovered lying face down in the street on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. At 2:46a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to the 5100 block of Marion Street and found Kyron suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced Kyron deceased at the scene.

Kyron A. Howerton, 24 year-old Black male, resided on West Manheim Street in Philadelphia, PA. David Flowers, affectionately called Day-Day by family and friends, was beaten to death while he slept on August 26, 2009. We are asking social media to share any information that leads to the arrest of persons or person that committed this cowardly act. David’s case remains 17 years cold on August 26, 2026‼️Justice is way overdue 💔‼️

On Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 11:56 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to the 200 block of North Simpson Street and found David Flowers lying on the floor in the first floor living/dining room area. David was suffering from trauma to his head. Medical personnel responded, but David did not survive.

David Flowers was 23 years old. He resided on the 5100 block of Kershaw Street in Philadelphia PA. Anyone with information regarding David’s murder is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

COLD CASE ALERT‼️

On Friday, April 18, 2025, Imani Naim was shot while sitting in a red Hyundai Elantra. At 11:25 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to the 5700 block of Ludlow Street for a report of a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers observed Imani sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds to her chest and head. The shooting happened while her 8-year-old cousin was in the car. Thankfully, although severely traumatized, he was not injured.

The officers placed Imani in their patrol vehicle and rushed her to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. Despite efforts by medical personnel to save her life, Imani was pronounced dead later that night.

Imani Naim, 29-year-old Black female, resided on Carrick Court in Middleden, Delaware.

“Imani Naim was a mother of 4. Devoted to her children. She was a great daughter and friend. She supported her friends and family. She was funny, caring. She helped people because she had a kind heart. She was beautiful and amazing. Resilient and loved. She was my daughter and I love her very much.” ~Imani’s grieving mother 💔😞

Sahdee Bacon, Imani Naim’s aunt, described her niece as funny and the life of the party. She said they were inseparable. Police say the gunman, dressed in all black, fired the shots at close range. Bacon said detectives have kept them updated on the investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made in the case.

Bacon said Naim leaves behind four children, including a 5-month-old baby (at the time of Imani’s death). She said she hopes police find the person responsible for the sake of her kids.

“I just want justice for my niece,” she said.

Police are also offering a $20,000💵 reward for information that can lead to an arrest and conviction. Jasmine Hicks lost her life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday, July 2, 2026. At 11:11 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to the 2500 block of West Master Street and found Jasmine. She had been shot multiple times. PFD medics transported Jasmine to Temple University Hospital. Despite efforts by medical personnel to save her life, Jasmine died early the following morning, on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Jasmine Hicks, 37-year-old Black female, resided on North Warnock Street in Philadelphia, PA.

Bringing closure to this case depends on people in the community stepping forward.
