Join us Saturday, 10/24/26 at 9 am to distribute food to the community in collaboration with Sharing Excess. Registration is required (see link in bio to register and for additional details).

What this volunteer event entails:
We will assemble carts with a variety of produce boxes for each partner organization— usually, up to 20 organizations pick up over two hours. Our team will tell you how many boxes of each. We will wheel the carts out to the organization’s vehicle and load it with boxes, ensuring thousands of pounds of produce get out into our community each Saturday Sharehouse shift.

Volunteers will help set up tents, tables, and produce boxes before assisting with a pop-up food distribution in a Philadelphia neighborhood. Together, we'll help distribute fresh food directly to community members in a welcoming, no-questions-asked environment.

Want to help ? Love spending time with community-minded q***r folks?

Come volunteer with Sip City Mixer and Half Mad Honey ! Volunteers will help refresh the space by painting picnic tables and garden beds, creating a more vibrant and welcoming environment for the community. During the event, volunteers will also enjoy a guided tour of the site’s beehives and learn about the important role pollinators play in supporting healthy ecosystems.

Cait’s bio:
Hi all! My name is Cait (she/they), and I’ve been with Gay For Good for just over a year. I moved to Philly at the end of Summer 2024 and am so excited to be here!

I enjoy crafting, my cats, watching my silly reality shows, exploring Philly, and reading about magic and dragons, especially if it’s got sapphic characters. I look forward to meeting everyone at events and giving back to our wonderful community!
