Good morning and HAPPY MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY! 🤴🏿 we all know how great MLK was and how he always wanted to see his community grow.

Our Annual speech contest challenges YOU to dream like Dr. King! Southwest has so many dreamers and some fall victim to their environment but with their loved ones help, their legacy lives on! Like Dr. King said : “you can kill the dreamer, but you can’t kill the dream”.

Let’s make it our duty to make all of our dreams for southwest a reality and make sure all of our legacies live on! How can we rise above adversity in our community? Let us know!

Submit your essay, poem or spoken word by February 18th! Winners get to perform their piece at our annual black history extravaganza!

ISEPTAPHILLY 😷] will be working the the tracks starting at 58th woodland up to 60th… come out to the .advisory.council meeting tonight at 6pm at 5801 kingsessing to hear about the work that’s being done. Ask questions and learn about the detours and minor inconveniences that may take place until the work is finished.. ISEPTAPHILLY 😷] will be in attendance
