Before the Richard Ho**er Jr slate took office in 2020 , our union meetings were empty.
Now they are packed.

We gave our members a reason to come to the union meetings.
We created a family atmosphere, everyone's voice matters & it is heard.

We changed how we run our meetings. Our Business agents give detailed reports at every meeting. We give out alot more information & give details on upcoming events that affect our members.
This makes our meetings more interactive & engaging.

This is where we build power to fight the employers.
Tomorrow the ballots are counted, we are looking to continue building on the foundation we laid 3 years ago.

We have a history of fighting the company. We speak truth to power.
The company knows we come to fight & we just don't go along with the get along.

In a very short time, we changed our local.
We fight, we win. We rally, we petition, we exhaust all possibilities to win for our members.

Organizing is the lifeblood of the labor movement. It strengthens the union & strengthens the working family.

The customer counter clerks have been in the 623 jurisdiction for decades, but they were not part of our local union. The Richard Ho**er Jr slate changed that.

The clerks saw our passion & dedication for our members & wanted that union protection.
Since becoming 623 members, they have already seen the benefits that come with being in the union.

Our hall is our home, it should be inviting, bright & have a sense of purpose.
It should be a reflection of our members.

We reinvested in our members by renovating their home.
By us doing so, the value of the hall quadrupled.
Not only did the value increase, the participation in our meetings increased as well.

The Covid-19 pandemic really took a toll on the workers.
The company wanted to drag their feet & not do what was needed.
We didn't back down & we let the world know, that our members were more valuable than UPS' bottom line.

We also made sure our members had food during the pandemic. With many of our members losing their other jobs due to covid-19, we stepped up to provide food & other necessities for their families
