Is astral projection biblical? Let’s explore!

Scripture is clear: accessing the spiritual realm outside of God’s covering is prohibited and dangerous. Practices like astral projection, divination, and spirit-travel fall under unauthorized access—doors God never intended us to open.

Deut. 18:10–12 warns against these practices, and John 10:1 reminds us that entering through any other “door” is deceptive. God doesn’t forbid these things to limit us, but to protect us.
If you’re longing for spiritual depth or encounters, you don’t need forbidden paths.

The Holy Spirit gives us safe, true access to God’s presence.

We are excited to get together for a morning of movement, walking, and connection as sisters. It’s going to be a great time that you won’t want to miss.

Date: Saturday August 9th

Time: 10:00am - 11:30am
Please note that we will meet at the entrance of the trail at 10am and will start the walking at 10:15am.

Location: 120 W Northwestern Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118

Parking is available, and you can walk down to the trail entrance after parking. We will be waiting for you!

Attire: Activewear and Sneakers

What to Bring: Water
(Fruit and Snacks will be given after our walk)

He is El Roi — the God who sees you, honors you, and walks with you.

Jehovah Rapha or Yahweh Rapha - “The Lord Who Heals”

The scriptures provide numerous examples of God’s healing power, including physical, mental, and emotional cures. However, the greatest example of “Rapha” is Jesus’s life, ministry, death, and resurrection, which offer us the opportunity to be reconciled back to HIM. Colossians 1:20-23

Understanding God as a healer can be a touchy subject. We consider those who pray for healing over loved ones, but they still end up passing away. Or those who pray for healing of the mind as they wrestle with mental health challenges. Or those who are permanently disabled. The reality is, there may be things we pray for healing from, and we may not see it on this side of heaven because this is a fallen world. But we have faith that God WILL restore and make all things new. Rev. 21:5

Application 📝: Through faith, we can experience Yahweh Rapha through prayer, confessing our need for healing, and trusting that he is THE healer.

Happy Mother’s Day! Being a mother is a role that’s both beautiful and sanctifying. We’re entrusted with the precious responsibility of loving, guiding, and nurturing God’s children. Today, we celebrate all mothers, including those who mother in ways that may not be traditional. 💕💐

As we celebrate, let's remember the women for whom today isn't easy. Those who've experienced loss, infertility, or strained relationships. We acknowledge your pain, offer our love, and keep you in our thoughts and prayers. ❤️🫂
