Pathanamthitta District Association (PDA) is an independent organisation of the people of Pathanamthitta District origin, who are currently working or living in the Tri State (PA-DE-NJ) of the United States of America. It was their dream to have a common platform, which can offer their needs of friendly gettogethers, meetings, cultural activities and other social events within the limit of an orga
nisation. On november 06, 2011 the idea of havings an assosiation took its shape, when a small group of people from Pathanamthitta Distict orgin came together at the Auditorium of St Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Church, Bensalem in the grecious presence of His Grace Thomas Mar Athonasius, Bishop of Chengannur Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church. The inaguration of the Pathanamthittta District Association (PDA) was held on the first official meeting held on Saturday the 11th day of February 2012 at Ascension Marthoma church, Philadelphia. As an organisation, the main objective of the PDA is to promote the interaction anb cooperation among its members, which is beneficial to its members in many ways.
