Here's a fun fact for you today. Of the more than 39,000 North Catholic grads, you were more likely to have a unique last name (shared by no other NC grads) than you were to have a name that someone had. There are a total of 12,110 different last names of alumni. Of those 12,110 names, 5989 were shared by at least one other alum, while 6,121 names were unique to those alum.

Amato Berardi '78 passed away yesterday. He was one of the original Berardi Brothers from the former restaurant at Torresdale Ave, near Harbison Ave. Amato lived an extraordinary life, including the successful financial company, Berardi and Associates Inc, and he even served in the Italian Parliament for 5 years.
