MEET AUDREY, our new Veggie Rx Coordinator!

Audrey comes to Sanctuary Farm with a rich background in art and farming. Most recently she worked at a regenerative flower farm in Philadelphia. She is passionate about farming and community work and we are excited to have her join our team.

Audrey will work at our three Veggie Rx sites on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

W💚W! We had a bumper crop of therapeutic gardeners today. It was great seeing all of you and benefiting from your hard work as we gear up for tomorrow's free produce stand and for our fifth annual Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17. TYSM.

There's a lot to do before and on the big day. If you can give us an hour, a morning or a day Monday through Saturday beforehand, we'd really appreciate your help. On October 17, we need festival volunteers between 11 am and 4 pm.

THANKS FOR VISITING! 💚 We were delighted to welcome NBC10 Philadelphia recently for a visit to our free produce farm stand. It's always a pleasure to have Sheila Watko and her colleagues with us. We talked with Sheila about our work and our 5th annual Food Harvest Festival on Saturday Oct. 17.

Thank you, Sheila, for giving voice to the importance and urgency of our mission to fight food insecurity and harvest healthy lives in North Philadelphia.

PLEASE HELP US. Our annual Fall Harvest Festival is Saturday, Oct. 17 and we greatly need:

Volunteers between 10 am and 4 pm to fill a variety of roles. Bring a friend and work together. It's a fun day and a great way to treat our dear neighbors to a fun day. If you're interested, email us at [email protected] and we'll find a place for you.

Clean, well-loved clothing, costume jewelry and accessories to make scarecrows. Wigs, hats, dresses, shirts, pants... you get the idea. Please bring your donations to our offices at 24th & Berks or give them to a farm volunteer in bags labeled "Scarecrow Clothing."

We appreciate your help in making this a fun day for our North Philly neighbors. In the event of rain, the festival will take place Sunday, Oct. 18.
