One of the questions we’re asked is, “Why does the Kentucky Colonels of Northwest Alabama do all these fundraisers and community projects?”

The answer is simple.

We believe being a Kentucky Colonel is more than receiving a commission. It’s an opportunity to serve others, strengthen our communities, and leave things better than we found them.

That’s why our chapter supports charities, recognizes outstanding individuals through nominations, and looks for ways to make a positive impact right here in Northwest Alabama.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission this year. We’re excited about what the future holds and the difference we can continue to make together.

So far this year, the Kentucky Colonels of Northwest Alabama has raised funds for multiple charitable organizations, completed community outreach projects, welcomed new members, and submitted 19 Kentucky Colonel nominations recognizing individuals making a difference in their communities.

This month, we’re continuing that mission by supporting Make-A-Wish Alabama.

As we move into the final stretch of June, we’re asking for your help. Every donation, every shirt purchase, and every share helps us bring hope to children facing critical illnesses.
