The Dragonfly Trails are Columbus’ network of off-road greenway trails that promote recreation, transportation, and connectivity. With a system of interconnected trails throughout Columbus, the Dragonfly improves citizens’ access to jobs, schools, neighborhoods, and the Chattahoochee River. The Dragonfly name was chosen because dragonflies are an indicator species for healthy water in a community.
They abound in Columbus, especially after the success of the River Restoration Project that returned the Chattahoochee River to health. The Dragonfly’s partners envision many generations of happy, healthy residents and visitors bicycling and walking throughout the community and connecting in new ways to our river. The Dragonfly Trail Network welcomes your questions, comments, and suggestions to improve the Dragonfly and its connections. The organization is focused on building connections and improving our community; any inflammatory conduct can result in deleting comments and/or blocking accounts.
