A little late in posting, but check out this article that we were interviewed for, along with Jackls' Whataview Farm & Weaver who has been a part of Maple Syrup Fest since the beginning!

From breakfast oatmeal to brandy old fashioneds at night, maple syrup plays a starring role. Several communities around the state — including Phelps — celebrate the ingredient with festivals.

I am at a loss for words about how wonderful Phelps Maple Syrup Fest was this year. Its always great, but year after year it grows. This is year was the most people ever. Not just for my demo, but the whole event. I am so lucky to be included. The event coordinators do such a good job. Of course the breakfast from Sunrise Lodge is amazing as well as the lunch from the Lyons club. It was SOOO NICE to see so many of your friendly faces at my demo. Thanks for the laughs and the gifts and the support. I truly enjoy meeting each and everyone of you. I hope I didn’t disappoint. My Northwoods followers really get me and my humor! Such a great and uplifting community day! I love it here 🍁🌲♥️I will be remaking the recipe and sharing it next week. So many of you showed up I had no food left to photograph! 🤣♥️I also love my partner judges for the maple syrup contest. Yay for Devin Biggs from channe 12 and Wisconsin’s own, Alice in Dairyland!

Results are in! Thanks to all who entered the annual Maple Syrup Judging Contest at Phelps Maple Syrup Fest. It was a busy day judging all 40 entries in density, clarity, label, and flavor. Special thanks to Jimmy and Adam from Smoky Lake Maple Products for running judging and our Celebrity Tasting Judges - The Tipsy Housewife, Alice in Dairyland and Meteorologist Devin Biggs - they were fantastic!

Congrats to the winners in each category. Our overall winner named Maple Syrup of the Year is B&H Honey and Maple Syrup from Chilton, WI! They received a PERFECT SCORE of 💯! Who's ready for all the delicious food at Phelps Maple Syrup Fest on Saturday?! Sunrise Lodge serves up hot breakfast all morning with Lions Club taking over for lunch grilling brats and burgers. And this year we are excited to share that Yort's Sips & Scoops will be doing maple syrup sundaes - YUM! And you can sample maple taffy on the snow throughout the day, as well. See you there!

Can't wait to have The Tipsy Housewife back at Phelps Maple Syrup Fest on Saturday! Along with Alice in Dairyland and Meteorologist Devin Biggs!

Tipsy's Cooking Demo is at 10am, be sure to get there a few minutes before if you want a seat!

I am super excited to be back at the annual Phelps Wisconsin maple syrup festival this Saturday at the Phelps school from 9 to 3. I believe my cooking demo is at 10 AM, but I will make sure. After that, I will once again be judging the maple syrup entries with my favorite local weatherman and this year’s Alice In Dairyland! This is one of the best events of the year. There is a wonderful breakfast put on by Sunrise Lodge. Then Hot Dogs and Hamburgers from the Lyons Club. Lots of arts and crafts. And so much maple syrup goodness. Hope to see you there!
