The Friends of the Pflugerville Library Used Book Sale is happening TODAY from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Pflugerville Public Library.

Thousands of gently used books, movies, music, puzzles, games, and more are waiting to find new homes. Most items are just $1, with children's books Buy 1, Get 1 Free.

Whether you're a serious reader, a bargain hunter, a teacher, a parent, or just looking for something new to bring home, come browse and see what you find.

The Friends of the Pflugerville Library Used Book Sale is happening Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Pflugerville Public Library.

Thousands of books and other gently used treasures will be waiting, with prices starting at just $1. Come find something for yourself, the kids, your classroom, or that reader in your life.

And if you've never been able to make one of our weekday sales, this is your chance. We're excited to bring the sale to a Saturday for the first time in years!

We're bringing out thousands of gently used books and media for our August 22 sale, including children's books, fiction, nonfiction, YA, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, puzzles, games, Blu-rays, and more.

Everything is priced to make it easy to fill a bag without emptying your wallet. Most books and media are just $1, children's books are Buy 1, Get 1 Free, and puzzles, games, Blu-rays, and DVD boxed sets are $3.

Plus, Friends members receive 5 free books at every sale. Not a member yet? You can join at the sale and start using your benefits right away.

And because this is our first Saturday sale in years, we're especially excited to welcome readers who haven't been able to make it to our usual weekday sales.

We're looking for volunteers to help with setup, organizing books, and assisting customers at checkout duing our sale on Saturday, August 22nd. Volunteer shifts are available the evening before the sale and throughout sale day.

The Friends of the Pflugerville Library will be at Pay it Forward on Saturday to help spread the word about what we do and how you can get involved. After you meet all the amazing animal attendees, come and say hi to us too!

Spread kindness throughout Pflugerville and beyond as we wrap up our Summer Reading Program at our annual Pay it Forward event! Stop by this come and go event from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 25 to learn about local volunteer opportunities! You can also work on a quick charitable craft, like making a pet toy for the animal shelter or decorating a kindness rock to leave at a park, or donate blood at We Are Blood's bus!

Open to all ages, and registration is not required! See you there.

As a reminder, in observance of Independence Day, the Library will have modified hours Friday, July 3 (10am - 6pm).

On Saturday, July 4, all City facilities, except for pools, will be closed.

On Friday, June 19, the Library will be closed in honor of Juneteenth. We will reopen for normal hours on Saturday, June 20.
