Be in the know going into 2021 race season!

The New Year brings new rule changes for the season! The biggest change being the “flat pedal rule” that can be found in Section IV, Rule 3 of the USA BMX Rulebook.

“All riders 12 & under are restricted to a standard flat pedal only; regardless of what class the rider might end up competing in that day. Interlocking-pedal cleat systems where the shoe is attached to the pedal or magnetic pedals are restricted to riders over the age of 12 that are Intermediate or higher in proficiency. No Exceptions. These riders must still use flat pedals when combined into a class that allows the use of clipless pedals”

‼️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️As of today, Travis County moved back to Stage 4 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Capitol City BMX will be closed until we move back to Stage 3.
