First pick for the month of November is… Before the coffee gets cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi!!

"Before the Coffee Gets Cold" is a heartwarming and thought-provoking novel set in a unique café in Tokyo, where customers can travel back in time but only under specific conditions. The story revolves around four main characters: a young woman who wants to reconnect with her lover, a man seeking closure with his deceased sister, a wife striving to meet her husband during a pivotal moment, and a woman who wants to understand the choices she made in life.

As each character experiences their time-travel journey, they confront their past, revealing their regrets and desires. The narrative beautifully explores themes of love, loss, and the fleeting nature of time, ultimately emphasizing the importance of living in the present and cherishing relationships.

Once again, there will be a second book announced soon! Usually we would vote on these and once more people are interested we will.

This is a page dedicated to the new oldham county book club!

We will be reading one if not two books a month and then meet locally to discuss once a month. There is room for growth, if this happens to become a large book club we may section off based off of genre.

We will be reading all the goodies, tik tok books, new releases, classics, romances, rom coms, mysteries, thrillers, horror, fantasy and Sy-fi. Any genre you could want we will be choosing from!

If you love bookstagram and book culture this is probably the club for you.
