Stage 3B inflammatory breast cancer
3 years remission
I was diagnosed with stage 3B inflammatory breast cancer in September 2022, just before I was pursuing embryo adoption via IVF. It was such a let down and I was angry and scared at the same time. I had 16 rounds of chemo, a bilateral mastectomy with lymph node dissection. Then 30 rounds of radiation after that. Since then, I'm still getting follow-ups with my oncologist at least until my 5 year mark is up. So, until then, I'm flaunting my bilateral mastectomy to show women that they can be sexy flat.
