SHRM Northern Michigan is wrapping up our 2026 professional development calendar with From Challenge to Change: Clarity, Action & Workforce Opportunity on Friday, November 13.

We’ll spend the morning looking at two things HR professionals and organizational leaders deal with every day:

🤝 How can employers tap into workforce partnerships and resources right here in Northern Michigan?

💙 Want to get a little more involved with SHRM Northern Michigan?

We’re looking for a couple of new volunteers to join our NMSHRM Board.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other HR professionals, help shape local programming, and support the HR community across Northern Michigan — without taking on a huge time commitment.

We’re looking for people who can commit approximately 1–2 hours per month and are willing to jump in, share ideas, and help where they can.

You do not need to have prior board experience, and you do not need to know exactly what role you would want to fill before reaching out. If you are interested in becoming more involved, we would love to talk with you.

Sometimes the best way to get more out of your professional community is to become part of building it. 💙
