Every donation, purchase, and volunteer hour helps support the mission of Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan and the individuals and families we serve.

As we work through some operational changes behind the scenes, our team is experiencing occasional staffing challenges, particularly in our donation receiving areas. There may be occasions when we need to temporarily close our donation doors due to limited staffing or capacity.

The incredible support from our community has filled every available seat, and we are no longer able to accept additional registrations. Thank you to everyone who has reserved a spot and helped make this event such a success.

For those who have already registered but have not yet completed payment, please use the registration link provided in your confirmation communications to finalize your reservation as soon as possible.

Payment may also be made on the day of the event. We encourage day-of payments to be made by cash or check payable to Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM).

โค๏ธโœจ If you've ever shopped, donated, volunteered, or supported Gold Mine Resale Shops, this message is for you.

For decades, Gold Mine South has been a special part of our community, and that's because of people like you. Every donation dropped off, every treasure discovered on our shelves, and every hour volunteered has helped support Womenโ€™s Resource Center of Northern Michigan and the individuals and families we serve.

Today, we're sharing plans to close our Emmet Street location bringing Gold Mine South and Gold Mine North together through a strategic consolidation that will strengthen the program and help ensure its long-term sustainability and impact.

While change can be bittersweet, we're focusing on the opportunities ahead. By combining the strengths of both locations, we'll be able to continue serving our community through Gold Mine North while supporting the mission and services that so many people rely on.

Most importantly, we want to say thank you. Thank you for being part of the Gold Mine story and for helping create safety, support, healing, and hope for thousands of people across Northern Michigan.

During this transition, we encourage you to continue shopping and donating at both Gold Mine locations. Additional information regarding final sales, Emmet Street location closing date, and future plans will be shared soon.
