Dear friends and fans, Harbor Blast is "Rain or Shine", but it is with *tremendous regret* that I must announce that RockBandVan will be forced to postpone our portion of the show this weekend because of the weather. Our Crew Chief and Volunteer Coordinator have consulted with me after a site inspection and a review of the weather forecast, and there are two reasons that the risk of rain is too high for us (although Harbor Blast will still go on as always). 😥

First, the trailer that we use as a stage weighs 8,000 pounds and will sink right down into the ground if it is wet. We do not want to damage Crista's beautiful lawn or put ruts in it trying to get in or out. 🌦️

Second, our stage isn't covered, and half of the stage gear including monitors, stage lights, speakers and instruments would be exposed to rain. That could ruin our gear and expose everyone to a risk of electrical shock, so we must unfortunately postpone until we can plan for another date to rock with you at Harbor Blast. ⛈️

We want to thank fabulous Crista and the rock stars in 4PLAY & C4 for inviting us, and we hope we will be able to see you there tomorrow. As a veteran of many shows here, I know that the doom and gloom forecast usually turns out better than expected and even if there is a little rain, the show will go on... 😍💯🍻🍾

"Come Be The Band" Tomorrow Night

This Friday, August 18th at 7 PM, we will be celebrating our August baby employees! Everyone "Dont just come see the band, come BE the BAND!!!" Come help us Rock Out to Van, Mandie, Christina, and Michael's Birthdays! Also, if everyone could please bring donations to our Back-to-School drive. We are looking for any school supplies (pencils, pencil boxes, colored pencils, glue, scissors, etc) to give to the children in need for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. If you cannot make it to our celebration, you can stop by the office between 8AM and 5PM, at 139 Monroe Street, Petersburg 23805, to make your donations! Hey guys, our own Cody Engle will be on Classic Rock 96.5 tomorrow morning talking with Brady DeAngelo a little bit about our live album recording at The Beacon Theatre Hopewell this Saturday! Tune in about 7:00am tomorrow!

Tickets are still available online, over the phone, or at The Beacon's box office. $12 now, $15 at the door. Rich & Tommy T Acoustic start it off right after 7. Come on with it!
