📣 Achievement Day Bags Need to Be Picked Up! 💚

If you have not picked up your Pike County 4-H Achievement Day bag, please stop by the Extension Office to get it!

All remaining bags need to be picked up by October 22nd. If your bag includes a check, please make arrangements to pick it up as soon as possible.

Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Our October Mighty Minis meeting has been postponed until November 10th due to the upcoming 4-H enrollment opening on November 1st! We look forward to seeing everyone in November! 💚

🍂 NEW DATE for our Mighty Minis Fall Into 4-H Call-Out! 🍀

With 4-H enrollment now opening November 1st, we’re moving our Mighty Minis Call-Out so our new families can learn about Mini 4-H and get enrolled while they’re here!

🍀 What a great evening celebrating our Pike County 4-H’ers! 🍀

We had such a wonderful time at our 4-H Achievement Dinner! It was a great evening recognizing the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our 4-H members. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate! 💚

A quick reminder: If you were unable to attend or haven’t picked up your 4-H achievement bag, please stop by the Extension Office to grab it as soon as you can!

Attention 4-Her's in grades 7-12!
Do you enjoy doing community service? Is there a community service project you would like to lead? If you answered yes, I encourage you to check out this opportunity with the Indiana 4-H Foundation, and applying for a YES Grant! This is a great way to bring your project idea to life right here in Pike County! If you have questions, reach out to our office at 812-354-6838!

If you know a 4-Her in grades 7-12 who would enjoy taking the lead on a community service project, they need to know about the YES Grants program!

In the past, we have taken applications for this program in the winter, but this year we have moved the application period to September 15 through December 15. The application portal is NOW OPEN at in4h.org/grants.

Please be sure that the youth lead is completing the application from their own user account. Adults may assist and guide, but they may not complete the form on behalf of the youth lead unless special accomodations are needed. (If this is the case, please reach out to us at [email protected] to make arrangements.)

Group projects are strongly encouraged, and you can involve friends and family of all ages, as long as the youth lead is in grades 7-12 and a current member of Indiana 4-H. We can't wait to see what ideas 4-Hers are cooking up to help their communities thrive!

🌱💚 National 4-H Week starts tomorrow! 💚🌱

Let’s kick off the week by painting the nation green! Tomorrow, Monday, October 5, wear your green in honor of . Whether it’s a green shirt, hat, socks, face paint, or anything in between, show your 4-H pride!

📸 Snap a picture in your green and tag and so we can see how you’re celebrating!

Let’s fill our feeds with a whole lot of GREEN and celebrate the impact of 4-H! 💚🍀

🍀 4-H ENROLLMENT UPDATE 🍀

Mark your calendars! Enrollment for the 2026–2027 4-H year will open November 1, 2026.

We know many of you are already looking ahead to the new 4-H year, and we’re excited to get things underway! We’re using this extra time to get everything in place so families have what they need when enrollment opens.

We appreciate your patience as we prepare for another great year of 4-H!

Come see what Mini 4-H is all about at our Mighty Minis Fall Into 4-H Call-Out! This is a great opportunity for new families to learn more, ask questions, get enrolled, and let the kids have some fall fun while they're here!

We'd love to see some new faces join our Mighty Minis this year!

Join us Thursday, October 22nd at 5:00PM at the Pike County 4-H Exhibit Building for a fun, laid-back evening where kids can see what Mighty Minis is all about. We’ll have pumpkin decorating, a craft, a fall game, snacks, and plenty of fun!

This is a great chance for families who are new to 4-H to stop by, ask questions, learn more about Mini 4-H, and get help enrolling. Current Mighty Minis are welcome too!
