The Petersburg Lions Club would like to congratulate Destiney Bright, Unity School, Petersburg! She is the winner of the 2025-26 Lions Club Annual Academic Achievement Award! Her essay was thoughtful, demonstrating her understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics(STEM) and how they work together. She also showed how STEM will apply to her in years to come. We can hardly wait to see what the future holds for these promising young minds as we partner with Unity School in this endeavor next year!

Petersburg Lions Club gives back to the community in many of ways. Recently, the Petersburg Lions Club realized that the Petersburg Town Hall Directory sign was barely legible. Recognizing a great community project would be to provide the much needed TLC on the sign, after approval by the Mayor and Alderman, the Petersburg Lions Club did just that. Thank you to King Lion, David Salyers and Perspective Lion, Nathan Dodson for a job well done! We serve better together!
