At the 2 H.Y.P.E. Foundation, we believe that when we invest in our young people, we invest in the future of our entire community.

Through the Metropolitan H.Y.P.E. Center, we’re proud to provide programs that support youth academically, socially, and personally—from Before & After School and Summer Camp Academy to STEM education, leadership development, cultural experiences, family engagement, and more.

We’re also proud of our Youth Ambassador Program partnership with Columbia Gas of Virginia, helping prepare the next generation of leaders through career exposure, leadership development, and real-world communication skills.

🎉 What an amazing way to close out our summer camp! ☀️💦

Yesterday was the perfect finale to an unforgettable week as our campers enjoyed a Bubble Run, Cookout, and Splash Down filled with laughter, excitement, and lasting memories!

A special thank you to the Petersburg Fire Department for spending part of the day with us, providing an important fire safety presentation, and helping make the celebration even more memorable with some water fun! 🚒💧 We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to keeping our community safe.

Thank you to every camper, parent, volunteer, partner, and supporter who helped make this year’s camp a tremendous success. Seeing our young people learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids is what it’s all about.

Congratulations to our amazing 2 HYPE Foundation Youth Ambassadors on successfully completing our 8-week Youth Ambassador Program! Your commitment, growth, leadership, and passion for serving your communities have been inspiring to witness.

Over the past eight weeks, these young leaders have strengthened their skills, built meaningful relationships, and embraced the responsibility of becoming positive voices for the future. We are proud of each of you and excited to see the impact you will continue to make.
