Foster's Farm Center “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man"

The authentic environment, the lowering of defenses and the natural progression of trust help children heal by building a relationship with the horses and other animals. The youth are able to care for and bond with the animals allowing them the ability to build their self esteem. The program will allow for creativity, assertiveness, leadership, teamwork, and positive relationships. The children wi

ll be able to learn how to work through frustrations and fears, character developing and how to take constructive criticism. Learning how to respect the animals will pull them out of their focus on self while teaching them how to love others.
