CommonGround Nonprofit CommonGround is a nonprofit who seeks to provide resources to underserved communities and create an environment where people in our communities prosper.

CommonGround’s mission is to provide services and resources for the underserved communities in the Central Virginia area. Our main focus is educating individuals and groups on the importance of financial literacy, higher education, and healthy communication using our heart, mind, and soul. With these key elements, we believe we can enhance preparedness in underserved communities. Our core values a

re love, respect, growth, understanding, and unity. We are a community-driven organization that aims to educate, build, and unify people by providing different resources that are otherwise difficult to obtain. One of our main goals is to teach the importance of communicating to understand differing points of view. We put emphasis on the idea that it is not always about being right or wrong but the ability to come to a CommonGround.

Happy New Year!! We would like to thank everyone for their support and helping us serve our communities Ettrick/Matoaca, Petersburg, Hopewell, and Nottoway. Last year we were able to do three food giveaways and served over 100 people. And donate to a family in need.
Gave away over 50 Care Bags to the community and unsheltered.
Donated Back to School supplies to two organizations
And our Holiday Toy Giveaway we were able to bless children with toys and games. We wouldn't have been able to do all of this without your help! Thanks for continued support for CommonGround!
