Nu Gamma Epsilon Military Sorority, Incorporated was founded on July 1, 2021 in Petersburg, Virginia on the principles of Sisterhood, Service, Charity, Goodwill, and Humanity to Humankind in support of women veterans. Nu Gamma Epsilon Military Sorority, Incorporated is an inclusive sorority for all women (natural born, transgender, transgender nonbinary and persons that identify as women) who are

currently serving or have served in any branch of the armed forces. Mission:

Nu Gamma Epsilon Military Sorority, Incorporated is a non- profit 501(c ) 3 organization dedicated to promoting the causes of female veterans of the Armed Forces and bringing awareness to the plights of female veterans such as but not limited to homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence and the need for respite care. Nu Gamma Epsilon Military Sorority, Incorporated is also committed to organizing and partnering on charitable projects with various veteran shelters, faith-based and veteran organizations, military installations within the community while fostering the spirit of sisterhood, service, charity, goodwill and humanity to humankind

Purpose:

Nu Gamma Epsilon Military Sorority, Incorporated was founded by veteran women whose purpose is to:
1. Provide outreach and community resources to veteran women in need who are unfamiliar with the dynamics of local and state government services.
3. Assist with obtaining transitional and permanent housing to accommodate the needs of the veteran women and their families.
4. Provide financial support to veteran women in need of housing deposits, household goods, or other necessities.
5. Provide stabilization and temporary services for emotional support, behavioral or mental health.

The largest veteran housing development in the U.S. broke ground Friday in West Los Angeles, a project dedicated to providing more homes and services for former military service members throughout the region. 🏘️🔑

More than $1 billion is committed to the project. Advocates said they hope to have the 1,200 units built by the year 2030.
