The PTJFA is looking to honor two graduating 2025 Peters Township Class students with a scholarship. The awarded scholarships will be for $1,000 each. The PTJFA supports the Peters Township Park and Recreation Department's statement of their Philosophy and Goals for Youth Sports Programs, Youth Exemplifying Sportsmanship Initiative, and Sportsmanship Pledge and Guidelines for Enforcement of the Sportsmanship Pledge. The PTJFA entirely agrees that the purpose of our program is to encourage and develop in children a love for football in a safe and positive environment while teaching skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Criteria:
▪ Graduating from Peters Township in 2025
▪ Played in a Peters Township youth football program
▪ Requirement of played football - at least 1 year football
▪ Continuing education to any post-secondary learning programs
▪ Consideration for academic achievement GPA: 3.0
▪ Consideration for leadership roles and community involvement
▪ One-page essay answering the following: How has football impacted your life, and how will you use the experience to influence others?
▪ Letter of recommendation - teacher/employer/member of the community that can
attest to why this student deserves the scholarship

Dear Parents, Coaches, Players, Sponsors, and the Peters Township Community,

As we close another exhilarating season in the PTFA, the executive board of directors wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Without your unwavering support, dedication, and commitment, none of this would have been possible.

To the parents, thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of coaching and mentoring your children. We understand the immense responsibility that comes with it, and we are grateful for your continued faith in our organization. Your support, whether it was cheering from the sidelines, providing transportation, or volunteering your time, has been invaluable in creating a positive and nurturing environment for our players.

To the coaches, your passion, knowledge, and tireless efforts have been instrumental in molding these young athletes into confident individuals both on and off the field. Your unwavering commitment to teaching the fundamentals, instilling discipline, and fostering teamwork has not gone unnoticed. Your dedication has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the lives of our players.

To the players, you have shown incredible resilience, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the season. Your hard work on the field, your willingness to learn, and your ability to come together as a team have been truly inspiring. Each of you has contributed to the success of our organization, and we couldn't be prouder of the growth and development we have witnessed within each one of you.

Last but not least, we would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our sponsors. Your generous contributions and support have played a vital role in ensuring that our organization thrives. Your belief in the power of sports and your commitment to our youth has made a significant difference, not only in the lives of our players but also in the community as a whole.

As we reflect on the memories and achievements of this past year, let us remember that it is the collective efforts of everyone involved that have made it possible.
