In 1972 I went to see Joe Cocker at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver - the tickets were $4.50 (Canadian). There was a band opening for them that were not on the Bill. They were introduced as Eagle before they added the S. It was their first major tour date. You can't go see Joe anymore but how about this date. The Space Orchestra playing their incredible reprise of Joe Cockers Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour and it is free! Family Friendly fun this Friday August the 7th from 5:30 until 8 at the Rohnert Park Community Center. You can't beat that baby! I will be honored to be there and tell the story of the Incredible tour that Leon Russell engineered for Joe.

We have plenty Corrugated - our collection is many sheets of classic corrugated metal at 15'6" long x 26" wide at $2/ sq ft and a cool collection of Standing Rib that looks awesome when you use the underside face - it would make a great looking fence these are approx 8 1/2' x 26". $1.50/sq ft🥸🥸

We must learn that when we throw things AWAY that that is where we live!

At 18, Boyan Slat gave a TED talk about cleaning the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. People called it impossible. At 19, he dropped out of aerospace engineering to found The Ocean Cleanup. The early prototypes failed — booms broke, plastic escaped, critics celebrated. But the team kept iterating like true engineers. Today, their giant U-shaped floating barriers sweep the Pacific gyre while their "Interceptor" machines catch trash in the world's most polluted rivers before it ever reaches the sea, since rivers carry the majority of ocean-bound plastic. Combined, the organization has now removed tens of millions of kilograms of waste, and aims to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic by 2040. Everything they collect is recycled, some into products that fund more cleanup. The lesson: the fact that something has never been done doesn't mean it can't be. Sometimes it just means a teenager hasn't tried yet.
