We had a great time at the annual picnic by the Petaluma Blacks for Community Development this past weekend. We collected some great feedback on what people would like in an open space park along the upper Petaluma River. Check out more about Friends’ efforts to permanently protect the upper River at PetalumaRiver.org.

Get your tickets today to the annual Sunset Fandango Gala fundraising to keep environmental education alive in our public schools. This last school year, our Watershed Classroom program served over 800 students, getting them outside connecting to and learning about the Petaluma Watershed. The impact has been huge with students gaining an understanding of how they are interconnected with their local environment. Help us continue to grow this work next school year. Get your tickets at https://www.fopr.org
