Hey folks, don’t miss this really fun event coming up next Friday night! Produced by friends of ours for a very good Cause :-)
The evening features an exceptional lineup of Bay Area musicians deeply rooted in the Grateful Dead and jam band tradition. Guitarist Mark Karan (formerly of Bob Weir & RatDog), keyboardist Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh & Friends), drummer Anna Elva (Stu Allen & Mars Hotel), and bassist/vocalist JP McLean (Melvin Seals & JGB) bring decades of musical experience and the spontaneous energy and improvisational spirit that define the jam band scene. Opening the show is Slowstring, the popular new folk project featuring Sarah Ryan and Jimbo
Scott, setting the tone with heartfelt harmonies and acoustic roots music.

Another Trip Around the Sun takes place Friday, August 21, at the Sebastopol
Community Cultural Center, 390 Morris Street, Sebastopol. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.,
music begins at 6:30 p.m., and advance tickets are $25 . Celebrate great music and community while supporting the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center.

Sonoma Wild is about Music, Community, and Activism. 🎼🤡🌳

Home of dramatic coastal headlands, vital tidal marshes, ancient redwood forests, majestic rivers and creeks, oak woodlands and sprawling grasslands, Sonoma County is one of the most beautiful and diverse places in the world.

At Sonoma Wild we come together for a common cause, we build a stronger community, and we work together to have a greater impact towards the things we care about. 🦅🦋🦌

Let’s keep Sonoma Wild! Keep in touch, stay involved. 🙏🏻✌️

🌟Sonoma Wild was honored to have Julia Butterfly Hill speak at the festival in June!

Julia Butterfly Hill is an American environmental activist famous for living in a 1,000-year-old California redwood tree, which she affectionately named “Luna,” for 738 days from December 1997 to December 1999. Her peaceful protest successfully prevented the Pacific Lumber Company from cutting down the ancient tree and its surrounding buffer zone.

Her nearly two-year tree sit in Humboldt County, CA brought worldwide attention to the destruction of old-growth forests. Battling freezing storms, helicopter intimidation, and supply blockades, she finally came down after reaching an agreement that established a permanent protective zone for Luna.

Today, Julia is a sought-after speaker, author of The Legacy of Luna, and a champion of various ecological and social justice causes. 🦋

🌿Sonoma Wild is about celebrating and protecting our natural environment and our community. We can’t all do tree sits but we can be aware and stay active, each in our own individual way.

💚🌿 THANK YOU, SONOMA WILD! 🌿💚

Our hearts are full after an incredible day of music, community, connection, and celebration at Sonoma Wild Music Festival & Community Gathering this past Saturday.

A huge thank you to all of the amazing artists who shared their talents and inspired us throughout the day, including Elephant Revival, Sam Grisman Project, Mikaela Davis, Hot Buttered Rum, MaMuse and Danny Goldberg’s Sound Immersion Experience! Your music created the soundtrack for a truly unforgettable gathering.

We are deeply grateful to the volunteers, environmental organizations, presenters, sponsors, craft vendors, food vendors, artists, and community partners whose hard work and dedication helped bring this vision to life. From the educational booths and workshops to the marketplace, kids’ activities, and delicious food, every element helped create a vibrant and welcoming experience for all.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended. Your presence, enthusiasm, and support made Sonoma Wild the beautiful community celebration we hoped it would be. Together, we raised awareness and support for the grassroots environmental organizations working every day to protect Sonoma County’s wildlands, wildlife, and natural beauty.

Thank you for showing what’s possible when music, community, and a shared love for the natural world come together. We can't wait to see you again next year!
