💜 Volunteers Needed! 💜

Inclusive Compass is looking for amazing volunteers to help support our Sensory Regulation Stations at community events throughout June!

Whether you'd like to help with:
✨ Set-Up
✨ Running the Station
✨ Break-Down

—we'd love to have you on our team.

Our Sensory Regulation Stations (SRS) are welcoming spaces at community events where guests of all ages can take a break, regulate, cool down, access sensory supports, and return to the event feeling more comfortable and successful. Stations may include sensory tools, headphones, fidgets, calming activities, visual supports, and comfortable seating.

No experience is necessary! We provide guidance, support, and training as needed. Whether you can help at one event or several, every volunteer makes a difference.

✅ All volunteers are welcome
✅ Youth volunteers are encouraged (ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult)
✅ Inclusive Compass can sign Community Service Logs

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a lovely day at Inclusion Fest Forward 💜

It truly felt like the reset we needed. We left feeling energized, inspired, and so grateful for the support, ideas, and community that filled the room yesterday. Seeing so many people come together around inclusion and accessibility meant more than we can express, and we are excited to start building what comes next.

A special thank you to everyone who stayed behind to help clean up. Community care like that does not go unnoticed.

One wish at a time, inclusion blooms

Many of you have been reaching out since we shared that Inclusion Festival will pause in 2026.
Your care has meant more to me than you know.

But I also know many of you are wondering the same thing — the real why behind this pause.
Do you want to know the secret?

So here is the truth.

We are pausing because we need more people power and more funding.
But the deeper truth is… I am burned out.

Not the kind of burnout where you just need a weekend off.
The kind where your nervous system feels constantly overwhelmed.
Where the weight of responsibility doesn’t turn off.
Where even things you love start to feel heavy.

For years, I’ve been the one who just figures it out.
The strong one. The independent one.
The one who will carry a mountain for the greater good.

And I’ve also been the one who makes jokes about being tired…
who laughs things off…
who says “I’m fine” because it feels easier than admitting I’m not.

But the truth is, I have reached my limit.

I do not have the mental or emotional capacity to produce Inclusion Festival the way this community deserves without real leadership support.
And saying that out loud is incredibly hard for me.

Because I care so deeply about this work.
Because Inclusion Festival isn’t just an event — it’s connection.
It’s safety. It’s joy. It’s visibility. It’s hope.

And I don’t want it to disappear.

This next year is about doing something I have struggled to do…
letting go.

Letting new leaders step in.
Letting new vision shape what comes next.
Letting this festival truly belong to the community that made it possible.

This is the moment.

We are seeking Chairs, Coordinators, and volunteers who are willing to help carry this forward.
