Tonight, we had the privilege of celebrating and thanking Molly McGlynn Knoderer as she completed her final term on the Petaluma People Services Center Board of Directors.

Molly has been a passionate advocate for older adults, a steadfast supporter of our senior programs, and a trusted leader whose positivity and solutions-oriented approach have helped guide PPSC through countless opportunities and challenges. As a local business owner, she has consistently invested her time, talent, and heart into strengthening our community and supporting the people we serve.

While her board service may be ending, her commitment to PPSC is not. We are grateful that she plans to continue supporting our mission as a volunteer, champion, and friend of the organization.

Molly, thank you for your many years of leadership, generosity, and unwavering belief in the power of community. Your impact on PPSC and the people we serve will be felt for years to come.

Mother’s Day can mean many things: honoring a parent, a grandparent, a chosen family member, a mentor, or someone who has offered love and support when it was needed most.

To everyone who gives of themselves to help others grow, feel safe, and be seen today is for you.

We’re looking for volunteer drivers in both Petaluma and Rohnert Park to support our iRide program, helping older adults and neighbors with limited mobility get to medical appointments, grocery stores, and essential services.

PPSC was honored to welcome Elizabeth Fuller, Chief Consultant for the Assembly Committee on Aging and Long-Term Care, and Cody Souza-Milner, MPA/HSA (he/him), Program Development Manager for Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging, during a recent visit in support of our Senior Services.

During their time with us, they observed the meaningful engagement and participation in our Adult Day Respite Program and joined us for lunch in our Senior Cafe at Café 211. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the impact of these programs firsthand.

Partnerships like these are essential to sustaining the funding needed to serve older adults in our community. With this support, we can continue providing vital services that promote dignity, independence, and connection for seniors while also supporting their caregivers.
