Did you know EKN has had an unpaid bill of $765,000 owed to Petaluma since last October — and says it can’t pay? Inaction or silence from the City on this debt would constitute a gift of public funds — your taxpayer dollars.
This Monday (today, February 23rd), Council members DeCarli and Nau are asking the council to place this on an upcoming agenda for discussion and possible action. Please, reach out and urge the council to do the right thing and pursue collection of this debt.

The 4-story hotel proposal is not final. It must still go before the Historic & Cultural Preservation Committee, where the public has an opportunity to weigh in on exterior design and architectural compatibility with downtown Petaluma. As this project moves forward, please provide some worthy input pointing to a design that is more compatible with our city’s historic character.

As we head into the New Year, we want to say thank you to our PHA supporters, volunteers, donors, and everyone who signed the referendum petition. We’re especially grateful for the incredible community response to our recent benefit concerts — the support and generosity shown truly meant a great deal.
