๐ ๐บ๐ธ ๐๏ธ Exciting news!!! The American Veteran Museum is kicking off in Sonoma County with the launch of the first Hall of Heroes. The aim is to turn every local Veterans Memorial Building into a center for honoring, supporting, and connecting veterans with their local communities. This ambitious initiative is just the first step towards a bigger vision of creating strong veteran communities across the country.
The program is being carried out in partnership with several organizations, including Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the American Legion (AL), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Vietnam Veterans of America, Military Women Across the Nation, and local municipalities. Their goal is to revitalize struggling Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) and the Veterans Memorial Buildings that are struggling to stay open due to funding issues.
