We were honored to be asked to be a part of the FDNY Foundation annual dinner at the Fire Academy on Randall’s Island in New York City. Their Foundation, which is the official nonprofit organization of the FDNY, raises critical funds to provide training and equipment for our members and it also helps to expand fire and life safety education for all New Yorkers. The annual event brings together business partners and community leaders to support the lifesaving mission of the FDNY Foundation.

Monday, our Guy Fieri Foundation crew headed up to Lake County, CA, to serve dinner to the incredible firefighters, sheriffs and incident management teams working tirelessly on the Lucas Fire.
These men and women have been giving their all to protect our communities, and we were honored to serve them.
A HUGE shoutout to our amazing volunteers, who always show up when we need you most!
We couldn’t do this without you, and we’re so grateful you’re part of our family.
And a Big Thank you to Brennan, Wes and Eric with Calfire and CDCR for all of your help to get us set up.

Guy stopped by the Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College to spend some time with their culinary class.
It was a chance to chat, share a few stories, and see the skills these students are building every day. Many of them also volunteer with us at our community events, and their time and energy truly make a difference.
We’re proud to work with these future chefs as they work toward their goals, both in the kitchen and in the community.

25 YEARS. NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Twenty-five years have passed since September 11, 2001.

But for the families who lost someone that day, for the heroes who witnessed unimaginable loss, and for those who answered the call knowing they might never come home, time does not erase the pain.

Today, we pause.

We remember the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, friends, and innocent lives taken far too soon.

We remember the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.
2,977 Lives Lost.
441 First Responders who made the ultimate sacrifice
We remember the innocent lives taken.

We remember the law enforcement officers, EMTs, military members, and everyday Americans who ran toward danger to help others.

And we remember the heroes who survived—but carried the weight of that day with them for the rest of their lives.

From that day forward, the meaning of service became even clearer.

Some people run from danger.
Our heroes run toward it.

Twenty-five years later, that courage still lives among us.

It lives in the firefighter answering the alarm in the middle of the night.
The police officer protecting a stranger.
The EMT racing to save a life.
The service member standing watch far from home.
The veteran who continues to serve their community long after their uniform is hung up.

These are the people we exist to serve.

The Guy Fieri Foundation is honored to stand beside the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting, serving, and caring for others.

Through every disaster relief deployment, every hot meal served, every hero honored, and every community we support, we carry one promise:

Serving Those Who Serve Us.

Today, we remember those we lost.
We honor those who sacrificed.
We stand with the families who continue to carry their memory.
And we thank the heroes who continue to answer the call.

25 years later, we will never forget.
Their lives mattered.
Their sacrifice mattered.
And their legacy lives on.

It’s all about no matter the day or holiday. Our first responders are working 24/7 and 365 and we want them to know we see them and honor them for the service everyday!

Following the Labor Day Peanut Island operation, Guy Fieri treated members of the PBSO team to lunch as a show of appreciation for the first responders who worked to help keep everyone safe during the busy holiday weekend.

We’re grateful for the recognition, but even more proud of the men and women who spent their Labor Day serving our community.
