The Barn Sale is up and going throughout Pescadero including here at Pescadero middle/high school. Come on down for some amazing deals and to support a variety of school groups. We have antiques, treasures, donuts, coffee, baked goods, popcorn and hot dogs at lunchtime!

Do you have an attic filled with treasures from eras gone by? Are you afraid to look in your garage because of the sheer volume of junk that has accumulated? Do you have a barn that is literally filled to the rafters? Now is the time to do some spring cleaning and unload your items to free up some valuable space! The Pescadero Barn Sale is coming up on Saturday, July 15th from 9am to 4pm. Spots are still available at our three community lots, the south end of stage Road near native sons hall, the vacant lot next to the antique store in town, and at Pescadero high school. Bring all of your treasures to sell and in the process have a fun day working with other community members and creating valuable space in your garage or barn. Don’t want to drag your stuff to town? Then sign up to have your home as a site! For $25 we take care of all of the advertising and put you on our maps. This is our 11th year with the Pescadero barn sale and every year gets more fabulous. Shay is thrilled to represent the Pescadero Middle School Chapter of Heirs at this festival, preceding the United Nations' Ocean Conference. Now, more than ever, we need everyone to speak out for our oceans and our planet. ,

Budding thespians of Pescadero Middle School took to the stage over the weekend, bringing the story of “Matilda” to life.

Author/illustrator Joe Cepeda visited with Pescadero Middle and Elementary Schools today. Mr. Cepeda has done illustrations for well known authors including Toni Morrison, Gary Soto, Pam Muniz Ryan, and Joy Cowley. He has also authored and illustrated many of his own books. His stories share his love of family and his connection to his Mexican culture. After a whole school presentation, a select group of students participated in an art demonstration. Thank you to the Half Moon Bay Public Library for their support.

Sophie, Tallulah, Shay & Morgan had a bake sale to earn money for the Pescadero Middle School Washington, DC trip! Big thanks to the La Honda Store and School Board member, Cindy Hayes for a very successful day.
