October 12–16 is National School Lunch Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize the AMAZING cafeteria staff at Northview and Parkside! ❤️🖤

Every day, these hardworking individuals do so much more than prepare and serve meals. They help fuel our students’ minds and bodies, ensuring they have the energy and nutrition they need to learn, grow, and succeed! 📚✨

From early mornings preparing meals to greeting students with a friendly smile, our cafeteria staff plays such an important role in making our schools a wonderful place to be! ❤️

👏 Please join the PTA in giving a BIG THANK YOU to our incredible cafeteria teams! We appreciate your hard work, dedication, and the care you show our students each and every day!

❤️🖤🤍 MEET THE BOARD MONDAY! 🤍🖤❤️

We’ve saved one more special introduction for you! 🎉

As we wrap up our Meet the Board Monday series, we’re excited to introduce our final board member, Tara Wright, our PTA Secretary & Staff Liaison! ❤️

📚 A Little About Tara:

Tara is a proud girl mom to two daughters and is celebrating 10 years with her husband this year! Whether it’s tumbling, softball, or their next big adventure, she loves being her girls’ biggest cheerleader! 📣

Tara works full-time as a Health Aide in our school district and part-time in home health. Caring for others is truly at the heart of everything she does! When she’s not working or supporting her girls, you’ll likely find her enjoying a good book or grabbing coffee at a local coffee shop. ☕📖

🏫 Her Connection to Our Schools:

With one daughter in 4th grade and another in preschool, Tara gets to experience our schools from multiple perspectives! She also works in the nurse’s office at Parkside.

As our Secretary & Staff Liaison, Tara plays an important role in keeping communication open between the PTA and our incredible teachers and staff.

❤️ Why She Joined the PTA:

For Tara, it’s all about CONNECTION!

She wants our teachers and staff to feel supported, our parents to feel heard, and our students to have unforgettable school experiences.

Her philosophy is simple: We’re all on the same team, and we’re all here for the kids! ❤️

🎅🏻 Favorite PTA Event:

Breakfast with Santa! 🎄

Tara loves seeing the excitement and magic of the holiday season through the kids’ eyes. She also especially appreciates our sensory-friendly event times, which help make PTA activities welcoming and accessible to more families.

📖 Something You Might Not Know:

Tara is married to a published author! Her husband released a book of poetry in August 2026 inspired by growing up in the ’90s. How cool is that?!

🎉 What She’s Looking Forward to This Year:

Tara is excited about the new events and fundraisers we’re bringing to our schools, especially opportunities to try something different!

One event she’s particularly looking forward to is our upcoming Draw Down on November 6th! 🎟️

She loves that this adults-only event gives parents an opportunity to get out, have fun, meet other families, and build friendships.

After all, while everything we do is centered around our kids, our parents deserve some fun, too! ❤️

Today, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to the amazing custodial staff who work behind the scenes every day to keep our schools clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students! 🏫✨

From keeping classrooms and hallways clean to tackling the unexpected messes that come with hundreds of kids every day, you do so much more than people often realize. Your hard work helps create an environment where our students can learn, grow, and feel comfortable each day. ❤️
