It's after Memorial Day! Reminder: If you have any decorations at the cemetery that may impede the upkeep of the cemetery or have become windblown, make sure to remove them or they may be removed. The Peru Cemetery Auxiliary would like to extend our gratitude to Robert Lee Sherman for his service to our country and to the veterans at Mount Vernon Cemetery. After 10 years of dedicated work honoring the cemetery's veterans at Memorial Day, he has retired and passed the honor to Peru Cemetery Auxiliary. Hopefully he'll keep us in line next year!
