Peru State College Social Science Club is a student organization running in cooperation with Phi Alpha Theta National History Honors Society. PSCSSC is open to any and all students majoring in history or any of the social sciences. We are an organization dedicated to supporting activities and programs that promote the study and enjoyment of history. If you think that PSCSSC is something you might

be interested in, please attend one of our weekly meetings in Jindra Fine Arts 202 at 11am on Thursdays or contact Dr. Sara Crook in her office on the first floor of the Jindra Fine Arts Building.

Over Winter Break, the Peru State College Social Science Club and Phi Alpha Theta Chapter attended the 2025 Biennial Phi Alpha Theta National Conference in Washington D.C. President Caleb Kozeny, Vice President Lucas Hrabik, and Member Faith Reynolds presented papers at the conference in front of panels. They also explored the many sites of the nation’s capital. Another amazing experience. Way to represent Peru State College well!

Congratulations Peru State College Eta Delta Chapter!

We're delighted to start sharing our 2023 Best Chapter Award winners with you!
First up, in first place in Division I - congratulations to the Eta Delta chapter at Peru State College! This year, the Eta Delta chapter attended the Biennial Convention, served their community by cleaning up trails at the Lewis and Clark Center in Nebraska City (and made a model of Lewis and Clark’s fort with the cleaned-up sticks after), visited museums, and participated in their college's Martin Luther King Jr. Day brunch by giving a report on their ongoing research project on the history of black students at Peru State College.

Way to go Philip and Aaron for making it to student teaching. You both will be do awesome next semester.
