🍎🦁 Peru Lions Club at the Applefest Parade! 🦁🍎

It was a beautiful day to be out in the community for the annual Applefest Parade! Members of the Peru Lions Club were proud to take part and help celebrate one of our favorite local traditions.

We also had the chance to spread the word about the upcoming Peru Lions Club Turkey Trot 5K & 10K, happening Thanksgiving morning! 🦃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who came out, waved, and supported the parade. We love being part of such a great community!

Per Lion Dave Dalton: "We held our 4th annual Green Up day on Saturday 4/18. We had a successful day with the Peru Lions, Peru K-5 PTO, SAVE Environmental Awareness group and PCS track team members coming together to pick up trash town wide throughout Peru. Over 50 people collected 40 bags of trash and 6 bags of deposit bottles and cans which were donated to the Elmore SPCA.
Thanks to the good turnout of Lions and everyone that helped make it a successful event."
