A few pictures from the volunteer dinner last night at the Ladd Moose. Thanks to Charlie, Molly, and Chad. It was excellent and much appreciated. It was good to get together again with friends made while building the Habitat for Humanity home here in Ladd. We got together, made some friends, and a house got built, couldn't have been better. I go over to the Habitat for Humanity Resale store a couple times a week and volunteer for a few hours. They mentioned that they could really use any volunteer help that they could get. Pretty easy work, sorting out boxes of items and preparing them to be put on the sales floor.

If you have a few hours to give a day or more a week, please call them and look into volunteering. It's not hard and some nice folks over there.

Even though the Ladd build has been completed, the Habitat for Humanity of LaSalle-Bureau-Putnam county is still alive and well. We just wanted to put this out there to let you know that Club LADD 89 isn't done and over with by any means, even though there have not been many posts of late.

I also wanted to mention that there is a collection of photos (over 600) that were taken during the recent build on Iowa Street here in town. They can be put on a DVD disc and made available to anyone interested in getting a copy (as long as my supply of blank DVD's holds out) free of charge. I have to burn them in a format for playing on a computer, but will play on some DVD players. Prefer hand delivery/pickup rather than mail to avoid postage. Let us know if interested.
