⚽️ IMPORTANT GAME UPDATE FOR TOMORROW ☀️

Due to the temperatures expected tomorrow, we are making a few schedule and game-format adjustments to help keep our players, coaches, and families safe.

Please note the following changes:

⚽️ All games scheduled between 8:00 AM and 10:15 AM WILL be played as scheduled.

💧 All games that are played will be broken into QUARTERS instead of halves to allow for additional water and rest breaks.

⏰ 3rd/4th Grade Girls:
The single game originally scheduled for 11:30 AM will be moved to 9:00 AM.

❌ Junior High Games:
Junior High games will not be played tomorrow. We will do our best to find an available date to reschedule these games. You will receive communication from coaches once these are rescheduled.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make adjustments with the safety of our players and officials in mind. Please help us spread the word and make sure all teams are aware of these changes! ⚽️ 💚

⚽️ Fall 2026 Season Update! ⚽️

The countdown to kickoff is on, and we’re excited to share a few updates!

✅ Teams have been selected, and coaches should be reaching out to families soon. If you haven’t heard from your coach in the next few days, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so we can help get you connected.

📅 Game schedules will be available soon and will be posted on SportsEngine as soon as they are finalized. Season begins August 15th!

⚽️ Pre-K families: We’re putting the finishing touches on those teams and expect them to be completed by next week. Thank you for your patience!

We appreciate everyone’s excitement and support as we prepare for another fantastic season. We can’t wait to see all of our players back on the fields for a fun, memorable fall season!

⚽ We’re Looking for a Few More Pre-K Coaches this Fall in both our boys and girls divisions! ⚽

Do you love working with kids? Want to make a difference while having a blast? The Perryville Optimist Soccer League is looking for a few additional Pre-K Rec Soccer coaches for the upcoming fall season!

No soccer experience? No problem! Our Pre-K program is all about introducing our youngest players to the game through fun, encouragement, and positive experiences. We’ll provide resources and support—you just bring your enthusiasm!

Coaching is a great way to:
⚽ Spend quality time with your child
⚽ Help young players build confidence
⚽ Make a lasting impact in our community
⚽ Be part of an amazing POSL family

Have a child interested in soccer? We have the league for you! The Fall Youth Soccer League has Pre-K to 8th grade divisions offered. Games are played on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings and Saturdays at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex. Season starts September 1, 2026.

There will be a coaches meeting on August 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shawnee Park Center.
