Not a runner? Perfect.

The Walk to Remember, held during our Run to Remember 5K and Walk, is designed for everyone.

Here’s a sneak peek at the 1K route. We’ll start at the Huey Helicopter, walk to America’s Wall, and continue around to The Old Guard before finishing.

Whether you’re walking in honor of a Veteran, with family and friends, or simply to show your support, we’d love to have you join us.

New picnic tables have arrived at Patriot Plaza!

Thanks to the generosity of our Volunteer, Sara Boland, who funded the picnic tables in memory of her father, Raymond Schweigert, and the hard work of future Eagle Scout Jack Unverferth and his fellow Scouts, this project is now complete.

The next time you visit Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, stop by Patriot Plaza, take a seat, and stay awhile.

My name is Sara Boland. I’m a proud Air Force Veteran and a Volunteer at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial.

I want more Veterans and families to discover this special place and know they have somewhere they can come to reflect, remember, and find peace.

That’s why I chose to sponsor the Run to Remember 5K and Walk.

I hope you’ll join me on Saturday, July 18.

Thank you to Farmington Middle School for visiting Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial today!

We were excited to welcome students to campus as they learned about the service, sacrifice, and stories of America’s Veterans.

A special thank you to our Volunteer Tour Guides, Nancy and Rosie, for sharing their time and knowledge and helping make today’s field trip a meaningful experience for every student.

Our Maintenance and Groundskeeper, Mark Cissell, and Seasonal Mower, Colton Cissell, have placed American flags along the sidewalk leading to America’s Wall.

The flags will remain on display through the Fourth of July, creating a beautiful and meaningful welcome for Veterans, families, and visitors.

We invite you to visit, walk the path, and take a moment to remember the service and sacrifice of those who made our freedoms possible.
