🌟 Do You Know Someone Who Makes Perry County Better? 🌟

The Perry County Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for our 2026 Humanitarian of the Year Award! ❤️

This special honor recognizes an individual who truly embodies the spirit of giving in Perry County, Missouri — not necessarily through large financial contributions, but through a heartfelt commitment to serving others. 🙌

Whether they volunteer their time, mentor others, organize community efforts, or quietly help those in need, we want to celebrate the people who make our community stronger every day. 🏡✨

🏆 The recipient will be recognized at our annual Humanitarian of the Year Dinner on Thursday, November 12, 2026, and will direct a $1,000 grant to the charity of their choice.

📅 To be considered for this year’s award, nominations must be submitted by:
Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (noon)

Are you Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? 🇺🇸

The Perry County Commission is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on one of our appointed boards. Opportunities are available on boards such as the Mental Health Board, Senior Tax Commission, Library Board, and the Perry County Board for the Developmentally Disabled.

Serving on a board is a great way to stay engaged, share your perspective, and help shape the future of Perry County.

We have extended the deadline for our Perry County Affiliate Grantmaking Program!! Deadline is May 7, 2026!

Perry County Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 grant round!! A total of $1500 is available for programs and organizations in the Perry County area.

The Perry County Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life for individuals in Perry County through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership. 501(c)3 public charities or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches) serving Perry County are eligible to apply.

🏀🧡 Celebrating an Incredible Season! 🧡🏀

The St. Vincent Lady Indians have once again proven what it means to compete with heart, determination, and pride! Finishing as Class 3 State Runner-Up, this team capped off an outstanding season with a 24-8 record and a return trip to the state championship stage—an incredible accomplishment. 👏

Going back-to-back as state finalists, and doing so after moving up a classification, speaks volumes about the resilience and strength of this program. From conference and district championships to a dominant postseason run, the Lady Indians showed what it means to rise to the challenge and never back down. 💪

We are especially proud of the leadership and grit shown by the seniors, who chose to finish the game together—fighting until the final buzzer. That kind of character defines champions. 🧡

The Perry County Community Foundation congratulates the Lady Indians, coaches, and supporters on a remarkable season. Your dedication and sportsmanship continue to inspire our entire community!
