Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp

Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp A Christian summer camp and retreat center nestled on Pleasant Hill Lake in Ohio's Mohican Valley

The Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp in Ohio has operated since 1953. We are a summer camp and seasonal retreat facility for children, youth and families. Operated by a volunteer Board of Trustees, we are staffed by an Executive Director, Program Manager, Hospitality and Outreach Director, and many seasonal staff and volunteers. A Christian Camp by design, we are dedicated to providing a safe and exciti

ng recreational camp program that integrates biblical truth into daily life, provides a week full of fun and growth for campers, gives development and rest to ministry leaders, and leaves a lasting positive mark on each person who attends. Our dream is that every person who walks through our doors experiences and embraces the amazing love of Jesus. We promise that during your (or your child's) time with us, you will be safe, challenged, and loved.

♻️Since we had such a good time back in March (& the work never ends) we decided on a Serve Day 2.0!

Some epic wins from last serve day: fire pits, sign posts, chair racks, axe throwing targets, archery bow holders and more🎯.

Huge thank you to everyone who came out for our serve day!
Many projects were finished that couldn’t have been without you.

Removing all the fallen trees, putting our flagpole back up, new sign posts, cabin cleanings, new chair storage, a refreshed fire pit for outpost, putting up all the nets for all the ball games, new swinging chair and much more!

Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp wouldn’t be the same without you!

Hope to see you soon on Serve Day! ⛺️💪

"People have been telling me it must be bittersweet, and it honestly does feel that way. A crazy side effect of working at camp is that both staff and campers become people that you look forward to seeing every year because in many ways they are family. There are years when staff or campers are missing, and I have been like, man, their presence is missed. I guess I have to get used to that feeling.

Therefore, I did not want to officially leave without simply saying: "Thank you. Farewell. Kenai out." I know that God will continue to do great things through Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp, its leadership, and staff.

With Love,

Kenai"
